Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

by Deborah
(Western Austrsalia)

Hi, My name is Deborah and I live in Western Australia, but lived in the UK until the age of 8. My dad used to make a bread pudding for dessert sometimes that had bread, sultanas, currants and maybe raisins. It had mixed spice as well. When it was cooked, it had a lovely crunchy sugary top that was golden brown and we had it served hot with custard or ice cream or cold from the fridge. I would love to know if anyone has the recipe so that I could make this for my kids.
