Looking For An Old Candy Recipe

by Sue Lamb-Worth
(Bedford, LA)

Hello. My mom used to make a candy for my dad it was a lot like penuche candy, but that was not it. I remember there was milk, molasses, a little butter, and it was cooked on top the stove to soft stage, then dropped by tablespoon onto wax paper and put into the fridge.

I've never been able to find it, and it was passed down from Mutchler side of the family.

Thanks all for the help,

Suzy
