Lest We Forget...
Create A Memorial Web Page
Lest we forget, you can create a special Memorial Web Page to honor your friend or loved one.
When I was growing up, among the photos that hung on our walls was a photo of my Uncle Ernie, shown at left. His photo was the more noticeable because it was always adorned with a red poppy of remembrance.
L.Cpl. Ernest A. G. Bell was killed in action in France on July 8, 1944 during World War II while serving with the S.D. & G. Highlanders, and he lies buried in the Canadian Military Cemetery at Beny-Sur-Mer in Normandy. He was just 34.
I always regretted that I never got to know Uncle Ernie, but though he was absent from us, he seemed always to be a part of our family. Each year on November 11th we would gather around the local cenotaph on Remembrance Day and stand at attention during the two-minute silence to honor him and his fallen comrades. I shall never forget him.

Create A Memorial Web Page, Lest We ForgetHave you lost a loved one who served in your country's military and was a casualty of war, or peacekeeping, recent or past? You can create a special Memorial Page to remember and honor that special person.
Each page will tell the story of a special person. It's not difficult, and you'll have created your Web page within minutes. You can then invite family and friends to visit your page and add their own comments, perhaps sharing their thoughts, and favorite memories.
Your submission must be your own. We cannot accept copyrighted material or content taken from another website. Your submission must be original to get published.
Submissions and comments containing political views, links, addresses, copyrighted material, or promotional content will be refused. These pages are simply meant to honor the fallen and express condolences
It's Easy: Here's How
1. Enter a suitable Page Title, perhaps the person's name. This will help people find your page when they search for it.
2. Share your Memorial text. You can share a eulogy, a compelling story, or your own thoughts and memories. It's your page to share what you want, but please don't include sensitive or private information about someone that could cause embarrassment.
3. Upload the person's photo (if you have one) and be sure to "Add Picture Caption" giving the full name and rank.

Ode Of RemembranceThey went with songs to the battle, they were young. Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted, They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
Lest we forget. Support our troops. Pray they return home safe and sound.
