Irish Beverage Recipes

Non Alcoholic St. Patrick's Day Drink Recipes Suitable For The Entire Family

These non alcoholic Irish beverage recipes make terrific St. Patrick's Day beverages that the entire family will love.

From their green coloring to their rich, refreshing taste, these drinks will be a hit at any party or friendly get-together.

Kids of all ages will love the chocolate mint milk beverage made using crushed Oreo® cookies, and the foamy green punch looks almost too good to drink, but I'm sure you will.

St. Patrick's Day Drink Recipes

These recipes for St. Patrick's Day are adapted from vintage beverage recipes.

Dublin Chocolate Mint Milk

Ingredients:

4 cups of milk
1/2 cup pistachio flavor instant pudding powder
4 chocolate covered mint sandwich cookies, crushed

Directions:

Pour 1 cup of milk into 4 tall glasses. Stir 2 tablespoons of the pudding powder into each glass until completely dissolved. Place 1/4 of the finely crushed cookies into each glass.

To crush the cookies, first place them in a freezer bag that seals tightly. Use the bottom of a glass to crush the cookies as small as you like. Regular chocolate sandwich cookies or chocolate Oreo® cookies can be used instead of the mint cookies.

Makes four servings.

O'Casey's Shamrock Punch

Ingredients:

1 (12 oz.) can of frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 quart lime sherbet
1 (2 litre) bottle lemon-lime flavored soda
4 cups crushed ice

Directions:

Pour the limeade concentrate into a large punch bowl. Add the sherbet and stir until smooth and well combined. Pour the soda into the mixture and stir to combine. Finally, gently stir in the crushed ice just before serving.

This colorful punch has pretty green foam that covers the top. This is a very refreshing punch to serve at your St. Patrick's Day celebration.

Makes twelve servings.
