Here's Some Gingerbread Men Recipes
by: Don (Webmaster)

Hi Lucy,

Have you seen my Gingerbread Cookie Recipes page? There you'll find several of Grandma's old-time gingerbread recipes, some of which are great for making gingerbread men and animals, and perhaps even a likeness of Basil Fawlty. The "Common Gingerbread Cookie Recipe" is one my Mom often used.

And on this Easy Halloween Recipes page, you'll find a "Zombie Gingerbread Cookie Recipe," but it's not just for Halloween; the gingerbread cookies can be decorated to suit any occasion such as a birthday party or even a Christmas party.

By the way, did you know that England's Elizabeth I is said to have served the first gingerbread men? Apparently, at her elaborate state banquets, she enjoyed presenting her guests with gingerbread likenesses of themselves in the form of "gingerbread men."
