We've all heard stories about overweight people having heart attacks and getting diabetes and how that life event leads to a permanent change in their habits. Well, here's the good news: You don't need to wait until this happens to you to get motivated.
Start By Thinking Of A Weight Loss RewardOne that would make you alter your bad eating habits. Choose something you really want. For me, it was a trip to Scotland. It is April 14th as I write this, and Vicki and I are booked to fly to Scotland on June 9th to attend the Scottish Site Build It Conference.

I weigh 242.6 pounds as I write this, and I would like to be at least 25 pounds lighter and in better physical condition when we arrive, otherwise, it'll be difficult walking those hilly streets in Edinburgh. ;-)
An at home weight loss of twenty-five pounds in 8 weeks is not impossible. I have done it before, so I believe I can do it again. But that was twenty years ago. Now that I'm over 60, it might a whole new ballgame.
Anyway, I'll give it my best shot, and I'll share my easy weight loss tips with you along the way.

I only can share what has worked for me.
Twenty years ago, I lost 50 pounds in 19 weeks on the Nutrisystem diet plan, and I felt great afterward. I loved the Nutrisystem plan because it taught me proper food portions, and it started me on regular eating times and balanced meals. I also learned some easy weight loss tips.
