Cornflake Patties

by susieqlawler
(USA)

I'm looking for a recipe for Cornflake Patties. They are made of cornflakes, peanut butter, and I'm not sure, but I think corn syrup. I had these delicious dessert snacks when I was in grade school back in 1957.

I attended a small grade school in Richwood, WV. The name of the school was Tannery Grade School. It has since been torn down, and a new school erected. The school cafeteria served these delicious dessert snacks once a week and I always looked forward to serving up these to my mouth!

I would be most grateful to anyone that has this cornflake patties recipe and would be willing to share it with me. I know my grandchildren would love them!

I am so glad to finally see this cornflakes recipe. I too have been looking for it. Had it in grade school and my mom's best friend used to make them for us as kids in the 60s. Thanks.
