Chocolate Chip Cookies Grandma Style

by Karen
(Pittsburgh)

I would like a recipe for these chocolate chip cookies. My Grandma used to make these when I was little, and they were always crispy on the outside. I need to know how she got them like that? Can you help me find the original chocolate chip cookie recipe?

Crispy edges
by: Anonymous

To make your cookies crispy on the outside, it is simply a matter of how you treat your dough. If you have melted butter the dough, it's not going to hold up as well. Hence, the cookies will spread and be chewy in the center and crispy on the edges.
