My Favorite Dessert Recipes Found In Mom's Old Recipe Box

Here are some of the best dessert recipes from my old-time recipe collection. They are the old-fashioned recipes Mom often used to make delicious desserts for her family. Some she found in newspapers, some she obtained from friends and relatives, and some she inherited from Grandma. All the desserts are simple and easy to make.

Mom had lots of great recipes to choose from, but when she wanted to make something really mouth-watering for her family, or for a special get-together, she often went to her old wooden recipe box. As you can tell from its photo, it was full of proven recipes for those great desserts that she knew her family loved, recipes that always brought a favorable response.

Although there are many great dessert recipes on this website, I call these the "best dessert recipes" because they make many of those wonderful desserts that I grew up with during the 1950s and loved. I know that you will love them too. You'll want to add them to your recipe box.
